The Island

2890km from Auckland, 4400km from Sydney and 8400km south of Los Angeles.

There are nine islands in the group - the two larger islands of Upolu and Savaii and the adjacent islets of Manono, Apolima, Nuutele, Nuulua, Namua, Fanuatapu, Nuusafee and Nuulopa.

Excellent restaurants and cyber cafes can be found on and around the main street, Beach Road, alongside the traditional marketplace.

The island of Upolu is 696sq km with good roads reaching beautiful beaches, freshwater cave pools(ここへ、チャリーが行きましたんやけんど), spectacular waterfalls and beautiful tropical plantations.
